Terms and conditions :

• The competition is open to all UK residents, excluding employees of Longdown Activity Farm and their families.
• Closing date for entries is 19.08.09.
• The winners of the competition will have a photo shoot at the Farm during the last week of August with in-house photographer/marketing manager Lisa Datlen. Some of the resulting images will be used on 275,000 leaflets during 2010, which will be widely distributed throughout Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire counties and sometimes beyond. Also at the Farm itself. The images will also be placed in an advertisement and some press releases, which will be placed in many and varied publications with coverage as per leaflets. The images will also be used on the Farm’s website, which will be seen outside of the UK.
• Signed permission to take part in the photo shoot and for the above mentioned usage of subsequent images will be required from the winning children’s parents or legal guardians.
• A Farmer’s Day is open to children aged 8 – 14 years old. All young farmers will spend a supervised day at the farm joining in and helping to run the day to day farming activities (date subject to availability).
• A 2010 Family Season Ticket gives free of charge entry to 2 named adults and 2 named children (age 3 to 14) any day from the day of receipt in 2009 until the end of the 2010 Season. Expires 24.12.10. It cannot be transferred. Any additional events to normal activities or the Christmas Grotto will require payment.
• By taking part in this promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these rules and any other requirements set.
• Children must be relaxed and confident with animals and have no allergies to animals.
• Children and at least one accompanying parent or guardian must be available for the photo shoot during w/c 24.08.09.
• No model agencies or third party applications.
• No responsibility will be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed.
• The winners will be the two children that the judges deem to look happy, fun and cheeky. Second and third prizes will be drawn at random.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Longdown Activity Farm reserves the right to withdraw or substitute a prize to an equal or greater value at any time. This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternative in whole or in part.
• The winners will be notified by telephone or post by 23.08.09.
• In the event a main prize winner does not come forward and claim their prize, a further decision will be made to determine a winner.
